About me

Francesca Fago was born Rome in 1984. Her passion for images accompanied her since a very young age. With her first camera, she spied and stole pictures of her parent’s daily workplace: film sets.
Growing up Francesca started perceiving human and social issues as her own and relied on her viewfinder to compose and communicate her message.
After dedicating a few years to the study of Anthropology at the Sapienza University of Roma, she graduated in photography at the European Institute of Design (IED) in 2007.
Francesca also lived in London where she studied Street Fashion Photography at the London College of Communication (LCC); after that experience she moved to Milan, where she completed a photojournalism internship at the Contrasto Agency.
Francesca is now based in Rome where she lives with her dog Biagio and she is considering the idea of moving to Bombay.
